Location: Umhlanga, Kwa Zulu Natal Requirements: Matric (Grade 12) certificate RE5 certificate NQF Level 4 qualification in financial services Minimum of 2 years underwriting experience Experience in both personal and commercial lines underwriting Responsibilities: Manage a portfolio of existing clients through proactive underwriting and administrative support Maintain proactive communication with clients to understand their insurance needs and provide appropriate solutions Monitor and manage unpaid premiums, ensuring timely follow-ups and resolutions Liaise with clients and insurers to resolve outstanding payment issues Proactively manage policy renewals processes, ensuring policies are reviewed, updated, and renewed in a timely manner Prepare and present renewal terms and alternatives, conducting risk assessments and portfolio reviews Implement effective client retention strategies, reducing lapse rates and maintaining portfolio value Process policy endorsements efficiently and accurately, including changes in cover asset details. or client information Maintain precise records and ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines Provide competitive quotes for new business opportunities within the existing portfolio Source and compare quotes from multiple insurance providers (re-broking) when necessary to ensure optimal cover and pricing Daily client engagement via Zoom or telephonic consultation to discuss policy details, renewals, endorsements, and cover adjustments Manage policy cancellations, including conducting exit interviews and offering retention solutions where necessary Coordinate tracking device installations for vehicle insurance requirements Process refunds promptly and accurately, in line with company and insurer guidelines Maintain compliance with all legislative and regulatory requirements How to apply:
