As a result of an awarded major EPCM project in Namibia, the client is seeking a motivated Procurement Officer to join on site project team on 6:2 roster

About the role

• Work with internal stakeholders to determine procurement needs and delivery timelines.
• Align procurement activities with project schedules and budget constraints.
• Prepare tender documents and evaluate bids.
• Draft service level agreements and manage contract performance.
• Place orders, track deliveries, and manage inventory levels.
• Reconcile discrepancies and ensure timely distribution of materials.
• Monitor expenses against approved budgets.
• Develop sourcing strategies and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier performance.

About you

• Hold a Degree or diploma in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business, or Engineering.
• Experience in mining, construction, or industrial projects.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and procurement software.
