Our client has an opportunity available for a Senior IT Project Manager based in Pretoria.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Project Management, Business Management, Computer Science, Electronic/Computer Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.
• 10+ years experience in professional software development and engineering on large, complex projects.
• Project management certificate.
• Application of Agile Project Management principles.
• Knowledge and experience in:
  • Agile Project Management on large, complex IT projects
  • Multitasking and working under pressure.
  • Planning and time management.
• Experience in DevOps, automation, integration, open source software, information security, etc. would be advantageous.

KPAs:

• Perform Project Management on complex IT projects in a matrix environment.
• Work across disciplines with researchers and experts to develop high-technology software solutions for clients.
• Contribute technically on large and complex projects, using cutting-edge technology and innovative designs.
• Form part of an agile team of software developers or engineers, delivering working software solutions.
• Lead a team of architects and lead developers for high-level system design and participate in development that translates those design into working systems.
