About the Role

The External Sales Representative (Software Solutions) is responsible for identifying and acquiring new business opportunities for the company’s software products. This role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and providing tailored software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Identify potential clients and industries that could benefit from the company’s software solutions.
Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and sales leads.
Initiate contact with potential clients through cold calls, emails, networking events, and other outreach methods.
Meet with clients to understand their business needs and challenges.
Present and demonstrate the company’s software solutions to potential clients.
Tailor solutions to meet the specific needs of each client.
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets.
Manage the entire sales process from lead generation to contract negotiation and closing.
Prepare and present sales proposals, contracts, and other documentation.
Establish and maintain long-term relationships with clients.
Provide ongoing support and consultation to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
Act as a liaison between the client and the company’s technical team to ensure seamless service delivery.

Requirements

Strong understanding of software solutions and their applications in various industries.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to understand and explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Qualifications

National Senior Certificate
Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
