Job Description
- Financial Accounting: Full accounting function including debtors, creditors, bank reconciliations, general journals, and fixed asset register.
- Payroll: Processing monthly payroll and serving as backup to payroll administrator.
- Reporting: Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports in line with deadlines.
- Compliance & Controls: Ensure adherence to legislative requirements and internal financial policies.
- Reconciliations: Supplier, customer, payroll, and banking reconciliations.
- Audit Support: Liaise with auditors and ensure audit readiness.
- Expense Management: Process employee expenses and company credit card reconciliations.
Team Support: Work closely with finance team members and management to ensure smooth financial operations.
Qualifications & Experience
- Matric with Accounting.
- Tertiary Qualification in Accounting (minimum requirement).
- Completed SAICA / SAIPA articles.
- 2–3 years post-articles experience in a senior role (preferably from an auditing/financial firm background).
- Strong computer literacy, including MS Office (advanced Excel).
- Previous financial software experience essential.
- Payroll administration experience advantageous

- Fully bilingual (Afrikaans & English) with fluent Afrikaans essential.
- Strong numeric and analytical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and reporting accuracy.
- Deadline-driven with strong time management and prioritization skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with a proactive, positive attitude.
- Process-driven with solid understanding of financial costing and controls.
Additional Requirements
- Must have own reliable vehicle (travel to Moorreesburg required 3x per week).
- Must reside in Atlantis or surrounding areas, or be willing to commute daily.
