About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Civil Site Technician/Foreman/Supervisor to join our construction team in the Western Cape. With a strong background in managing construction teams and a proven track record of delivering projects on time, you will be responsible for overseeing pipelines, earthworks, roads, and concrete works.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage construction teams and supervise site labour
- Coordinate with engineers and other stakeholders to ensure project completion
- Conduct site surveys and set out basic civil surveying and setting out
- Lead meetings and report on project progress
- Train and mentor junior foremen
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Production Manager or General Foreman on civil construction projects
- Sound knowledge of construction methods and standards (SANS 1200)
- Basic skills in civil surveying and setting out
- Strong communication and organisational abilities
- Valid drivers licence (Code EB or higher)
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering
