Duties:
- Assist in designing, developing, and deploying backend services using C# and .NET.
- Write and maintain clean, testable code and contribute to building robust APIs and microservices.
- Support existing systems while helping to develop new features using modern tools and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Learn from senior engineers, take part in troubleshooting, and actively participate in team knowledge-sharing
Job Experience & Skills Required:
Qualifications:
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Qualification in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
Experience:
- 1–2 years’ experience in software development or a relevant internship.
- Solid grasp of object-oriented programming; exposure to C# and .NET preferred.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, relational databases (e.g., SQL Server), and writing basic queries.
- Exposure to containerization (e.g., Docker) and cloud platforms like Azure or AWS.
- Understanding of unit testing, integration testing, or TDD principles.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and version control tools (e.g., Git).
- Awareness of basic cybersecurity principles.
- Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue
Skills & Competencies:
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles, with practical experience in C# and the .NET framework.
- Ability to troubleshoot, debug, and find creative solutions to technical challenges in a collaborative environment.
- Exposure to relational databases (e.g., SQL Server) and confidence writing basic queries and understanding data structures.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a willingness to learn from others and contribute to group success.
- Eagerness to learn new tools and technologies, adapt quickly to change, and continuously improve technical skills.
