Western Cape: Professional Structural Engineer (PrEng) posted by Communicate Finance

• Lead and deliver structural engineering designs for reinforced concrete and structural steel structures
• Take responsibility for project design delivery, ensuring quality, accuracy, and compliance with relevant codes and standards
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet agreed deadlines
• Provide technical guidance, oversight, and mentorship to junior engineers and technologists
• Liaise with clients, contractors, architects, and other project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle

Skills & Experience:

• Minimum of 7 years’ post-graduate experience in structural engineering
• Strong experience in reinforced concrete and structural steel design
• Proficiency in Prokon and finite element analysis and design software
• Proven ability to independently manage and deliver multiple projects
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree (BEng or BSc Eng) in Civil Engineering
• Professionally registered with ECSA as a PrEng
