Western Cape: Unsecured Portfolio Collections Strategy Manager posted by Network Finance

• Lead the end-to-end design, development, and optimization of the collections strategy across the full lifecycle.
• Build, implement, and monitor analytical models, scorecards, monthly targets, and performance dashboards.
• Analyze portfolio trends, identify risks, diagnose root causes, and develop actionable recommendations that improve collection outcomes.
• Drive continuous improvement through champion/challenger testing, campaign optimization, automation, and data-driven insights.

Job Experience and Skills Required

• Honors Degree or equivalent in BCom (with Maths or Stats), Economics (with Econometrics), or Actuarial Science.
• 5+ years’ experience in a similar collections strategy, analytics, or risk role.
• Experience working within banking or financial services (advantageous).
• Advanced experience with analytical and reporting tools: SQL, R, Python, AWS, Advanced Excel.
• Strong modelling, forecasting, reporting, and optimization capability.
• Ability to explain complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven ability to improve operational systems, processes, and performance metrics.
