This is a hands-on leadership role for a technical expert passionate about equipment quality, safety, and team development . Requirements: Matric Certificate (NQF Level 4) Trade Certification (Fitter, Millwright, or Diesel Mechanic) 8 years in manufacturing/workshop environments Mining industry experience (strongly preferred) Proven team leadership experience Clear criminal record Medically fit for workshop duties Responsibilities: Oversee assembly, maintenance, and refurbishment of hydraulic mining equipment Implement quality control protocols for all workshop outputs Conduct failure analysis and implement corrective actions Ensure strict adherence to company policies and safety standards Compile and analyse equipment performance data Manage workshop assets and inventory Provide continuous technical training to workshop staff Foster a culture of safety and excellence
