Responsibilities:
Develop, modify, and debug PLC programs for automation systems. Integrate PLC systems with other equipment and software. Perform on-site commissioning and troubleshooting of PLC systems. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of automation systems. Provide training and technical support to staff on PLC systems. Travel up to 60% of the time to various client locations for installation, testing, and maintenance.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a PLC Programmer in the automotive or manufacturing industry . Proficiency in programming languages such as Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi, or similar. Strong understanding of electrical schematics, control systems, and automation processes. Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently. Willingness to travel extensively (60% of the time) to client sites. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A proactive attitude with strong problem-solving capabilities. Preferred Qualifications: Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field. Experience with robotic systems, SCADA, or HMI programming. Familiarity with automotive manufacturing processes.
