Qualifications – Degree or diploma in Food Science, Baking, Culinary Arts, Confectionary and/or a similar. – Proven experience in a baking environment with a focus on recipe development. – HACCP Requirements – Product range development using technical skills for bakery, confectionary, bread and baked goods – Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to assess product quality. – Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members. – Familiarity with food safety regulations and quality control standards in the baking industry. – Experience in baking cakes, cupcakes, sourdough bread, rye bread etc. – Ability to bake artisan breads from “scratch” and develop new ranges in line with retail stores needs and requirements Duties Upgrade and develop new innovative, cost effective & factory orientated products. Help drive & initiate profitable growth of allocated categories through innovative product development and upgrades. Identifying GAPS and new opportunities to grow the business. Collaborate with production staff to implement efficient baking techniques and practices. Stay current with industry trends and technological advancements to enhance product offerings.
