Job Summary
The main function of this position is Quality Control testing of switchgear by use of:- Primary and Secondary Injection of Switchgear, HiPot, Ductor and mechanical and electrical tests.- Keeping Documentation up to date as per SOP.- In job training- Reporting to Manager daily on progress.- Health and Safety compliance- Site work from time to time. (~5-15% of time)Our culture is Fast Paced and Hard Working, if you are not a hard worker during working hours this is probably not for you. We are a swearing free environment with mutual respect. We prefer the kind of candidate that will not leave with 24 hours notice but provide proper notice as per the agreement. If you have ever left your previous employer with zero notice, please do not apply.We require someone with technical skills and knowledge and a willingness to learn everything. We will train the details of the testing procedures.Electrician or N3+ welcome to apply. Fault finding and single line diagram reading skills will be tested during interview.A motor vehicle license will be beneficial.We provide work clothes, training courses and a medical insurance.
