• Planning and setting up of project schedule with project stakeholders input using Primavera
• Following project planning processes and company procedure on all assigned projects
• Ensure consistency and reliable progress reporting
• Highlight any deviation within the programme to the Project Manager, and assist with innovative and appropriate planning advice
• Implement planning logic, understanding inter dependencies and knock-on effects
• Highlight critical path, Earned Value and appropriate resource loading
• Track baseline vs actual progress on schedules
• Highlight risks to ensure project completion on time – raise early warnings with possible impacts to project schedule
• Weekly reporting to internal and external parties by means of schedule updates and progress reporting
• Assist subcontractors, align, and integrate project schedules and progress reports
• The role/s may require time on site either part of the week or full time based on the project phase
• Understanding of bespoke consulting business models and ability to do business development

Desired Experience & Qualification

• Relevant qualification essential, professional registration highly recommended
• 6 -10+ years experience in the mining / EPCM industry
• Experience in a similar role, planning of large construction and installation projects essential
• Solid Primavera P6 and MS Projects knowledge essential
• Sound Understanding of fabrication and installation projects in the mining environment
• Knowledge of a Consulting role advantageous
• Driven Can-do attitude, with a passion for mega projects in the mining industry
• Process orientated and assertive to ensure that complex projects are executed in accordance with company established practices and safety requirements
• Bias for action, based on logical problem solving and experience
• Able to work under pressure and to communicate effectively with a wide range of project stakeholders
• Attention to detail to ensure the accuracy of the outputs
• Analytical thinker, energetic and flexible
• EPCM Contract experience advantageous
• Power BI experience recommended
• Must be willing to travel to project sites
• Must be medically fit to work on mining sites

Package & Remuneration
Market related – negotiable depending on qualifications and experience
Permanent position onlong term mega projects, with the intention of becoming Australian perm resident
