Marketing initiatives:

• Collaborate with the various legal teams and LEX Africa members in the development and roll-out of agreed marketing plans that align with the firm`s and LEX Africa`s overall business objectives.

Research and report writing:

• Conduct research, compile presentations and provide reports that support international roadshows and trips; as well as for internal dissemination.

Database management:

• Maintain a central log of activities related to: incoming and outgoing referrals; conflict checks; and related fees and client activities.

Events:

• Plan, coordinate and participate in select events that promote the firm`s and LEX Africa members` expertise and ensure all event activities are recorded.

Digital marketing:

• Lead LEX Africa`s digital marketing efforts across website, social media and email marketing platforms.

Budget management:

• Manage the LEX Africa marketing budget.

Pitch support:

• Provide support as needed on Africa-related pitches and maintain the relevant pitch materials.

Requirements and Competencies:

• Bachelors degree preferred
• Min 3 years working experience
• Proven experience rolling out marketing initiatives
• Good command of the English language
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Capable of working collaboratively across numerous stakeholders
• Strong administrative skills
• Delivery-orientated
• Attention to detail
• Ability to prioritise and meet deadline
• Proficiency in digital marketing tools, analytics, and content creation platforms
