Candidate
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience in tour consulting.
- Excellent communication skills; fluent in written and spoken English.
- Strong organizational abilities, including time management and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and web reporting portals.
- Knowledge of Tourplan, WETU, ZOHO, and Maximizer.
- Understanding of the travel industry and market operations.
- Skilled in strategy creation, commercial decision-making, and sales methodologies.
- Creativity in crafting unique guest experiences.
- Strong teamwork, interpersonal skills, and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Database and paperless file management expertise.
- High energy levels, self-driven, responsible, and fun.
- Ability to travel and work flexible hours.
- Proactive problem-solving with a sense of urgency
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Passion for guest/client delight.
- Self-motivated and diligent in meeting deadlines.
- Willingness to share knowledge and inspire others.
- Strong knowledge of South, Southern, and East Africa as travel destinations.
- Familiarity with FIT and group travel policies and procedures.
- Experience with safari offers and tour operating processes.
- High work standards, exceeding lodge expectations.
- Strong organizational and lateral thinking skills.
- Proactive with good initiative.
