Zyteq Technologies manufacturing facility in Ottery, designs and manufacturers fire detection equipment for commercial installations in Southern Africa, as well as PCBA assemblies for a broad range of customers in the medical, aerospace and FMCG sectors.We are looking to employ a PCB Inspector to work as part of the companies SMT Production Team. Responsibilities will include but not limited to:Reviewing AOI inspection images to verify genuine process defects.Visual inspection of PCBAs through optical and digital microscopes to locate process defectsAssist QC with supplier defect investigationsThe ideal candidate must have prior inspection or QC experience but not necessarily from the electronics industry. Knowledge of the IPC-A-610 Workmanship Standard will be a distinct advantage although full training will be provided. This is an important role that requires the individual to have exceptional attention to detail abilities while working for extended periods using optical inspection equipment. Candidates must also have excellent eyesight vision or make use of visual aids that do not affect vision when inspecting with the naked eye, magnifier or microscope equipment.Visual inspection of electronic components and assemblies.Suitable candidates should send there CV`s to David Semple at Zyteq Technologies
