Our client in the Solar Engineering Industry is looking for a hardworking and dedicated Junior Microgrid Controls Engineer to join their team in their office in Roodepoort, Johannesburg.

Requirements Include:

• Strong IP network.
• Experience in wiring and reticulating complex control wiring.
• Experience in configuring complex control systems.
• Good understanding of modern technology.
• Modbus.
• Canbus.
• Good understanding of:
  • Generators, Battery Energy Storage Solutions, and PV (Micro Grids).
  • Electrical Distribution MV and LV.
  • Electrical Metering.
• Come from a power plant control background / of PLC automation background.
• Need to be technologically advanced.
• Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Additional Certificates in Solar on top of your Engineering degree will be beneficial.

Location: Roodepoort mainly and sometimes in Rosebank office, Johannesburg.

Salary range: R40 000 – R80 000 CTC (depending on experience).

Starting date: As soon as possible.
