Group Travel Sales Agent

Job Summary
Responsibilities:
Drive sales and meet or exceed targets by promoting packages to individual and group clients. Provide expert advice on travel products, destinations, and itineraries Engage with clients via phone, email, and in-person consultations to understand their travel needs. Create customized travel packages and prepare accurate proposals and documentation. Coordinate with suppliers, travel partners, and internal teams to ensure smooth booking processes. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and special promotions to enhance sales efforts. Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients to encourage repeat business.
Requirements:
â? Diploma in Travel & Tourism A formal qualification in Travel & Tourism is required. â? South African Citizen Applicants must be South African citizens. â? Experience Proven sales experience in the travel industry with a track record of achieving targets. â? Industry Knowledge Understanding of airline and cruise products, destinations, and trends. Familiarity with air and sea travel is an advantage. â? Communication Skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage effectively with clients. â? Customer Focus Strong customer service orientation with the ability to anticipate and fulfill large group client needs. â? Organizational Skills Strong time management and multitasking abilities to handle multiple bookings efficiently. â? Attention to Detail Accuracy in preparing proposals and documentation. â? Team Player Ability to collaborate with different departments to achieve sales goals and customer satisfaction. â? Salesmanship Strong persuasion skills with the ability to influence potential clients and close deals effectively.
