Job Summary
Dengage was founded and is led by MarTech SaaS veterans who have decades of experience growing multiple SaaS companies from the ground up. We are looking for a Sales Manager based in South Africa to target businesses across the country.
The Sales Manager is responsible for identifying and qualifying leads for the Technical Support Advisors and Pre-Sales team, with a focus on driving the top of the funnel. They will be responsible for researching and reaching out to potential customers, setting up demos and meetings for the sales team, and tracking and reporting on their progress.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, and a strong desire to learn and grow in the sales profession.
Responsibilities
- Research and identify potential customers for our CxP products
- Outreach to potential customers through email, phone, and social media to schedule demos and meetings for the sales team
- Qualify leads based on fit and readiness to buy
- Assist in negotiating and closing the deal with Enterprise customers.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute lead-generation strategies
- Track and report on progress against lead generation targets
- Stay up to date on industry trends, competitive landscape, and company offerings
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years to Maximum 6 years of experience in IT sales domain, preferring SaaS based.
- Experience working in Ad-tech / Mar-tech Agency or platform selling roles will be preferred
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Experience with CDP or Marketing Automation platforms is an advantage
- Graduate/ Bachelors.
