Job Summary
Responsibilities:
– Provisional and final income tax calculations
– E-filing of provisional and final income tax submissions for individuals, trusts, and companies
– Handling SARS inquiries, corrections, and audit documentation requests
– Managing SARS disputes, penalties, and voluntary disclosure programs
– Processing dividend tax and security transfer tax submissions
– VAT calculations, submissions, and registrations
– Obtaining tax clearances and handling registered representative registrations
– Transferring e-filing profiles for trusts and companies
– Performing other tasks assigned by management
Requirements:
– Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a similar role
– Experience in SARS submissions & inquiries (non-negotiable)
– Knowledge of Pastel and CaseWare (beneficial)
– Proficient in Microsoft Office & accounting software
– Fluent in English (spoken, read, and written)
– Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
