Job Summary
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in solar energy systems and 3-phase electrical installations. You will be responsible for conducting inspections, issuing Certificates of Compliance (COC), and ensuring all installations meet industry regulations and safety standards.
Key
Responsibilities:
- Conduct hands-on inspections of solar electrical installations and issue COCs upon compliance.
- Identify and resolve electrical issues on-site, providing immediate fixes where necessary.
- Coordinate with the Project Manager to address unresolved issues and schedule follow-up visits.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards for all electrical work.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections and work performed.
- Assist installation teams with troubleshooting and providing guidance.
Requirements:
- Valid Wireman’s License
- Registered as an Electrical Contractor with the Department of Labour
- Experience with solar PV systems and 3-phase electrical installations
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work under pressure and with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and reporting skills
- Valid driver`s license
