Job Summary
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in hospitality administration or an administrative role.
- Experience in Health and Safety administration.
- A qualification in Business Administration is advantageous.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Familiarity with hotel management software.
- Ability to multitask and maintain attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a positive attitude.
Key
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the management team, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and handling correspondence.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and company regulations.
- Maintain accurate records for HR, Health & Safety, and Training & Development.
- Administer staff accommodation and conduct regular inspections of staff areas to ensure cleanliness and adherence to agreements.
- Assist with employee orientation, induction, and recruitment processes.
- Support management with reporting, payroll coordination, and employee documentation.
- Handle internal databases related to leave, contracts, and employee benefits.
- Monitor and assist with statutory reporting, including WSP and EE.
- Serve as the first point of contact for HR-related queries from employees and external partners.
- Support employee relations, policy compliance, and legal requirements.
Additional
Requirements:
- Understanding of employment law and HR best practices.
- Planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Professional and presentable appearance.
- Valid RSA ID.
