Job Summary
Requirements:
- Millwright or Fitter & Turner – Red Seal.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience within a servicing role.
- Mechanical and electrical pump/motors experience.
- Understanding of Mechanical Phases.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical principles.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for in service hands-on centre work.
- Stripping, cleaning, testing and building vacuum pumps.
- Book in all pumps as per procedure when delivered on site and ensure that the line manager is informed of the delivery.
- Liaise with customers in a professional and courteous manner.
- Contacting customers to discuss fault finding and servicing of their pumps.
- Informing customers when pumps will be serviced/repaired and delivered back to the customer.
- Travelling to clients for onsite servicing and repairs when required.
- Ensure the completion of the sales process of the service, from enquiry to successful repair, delivery, and payment in co-ordination with team.
- Creation of job cards and quotes.
- Follow up on offers and liaising with customers regarding status of orders and back orders.
- Retrieving order numbers, processing proforma invoices and following up through with the implementation.
- Ordering of local buy out products for service.
- Preparations of spares and pumps that must be picked for delivery/collection by customers.
- Log data for the service centre and keep track of monthly statistics.
