Requirements Matric with a recognized Blasting Certificate Drill Rig Certificate Essential Five or more years of experience as a Long Hole Rig Operator Medically fit for the role and work environment Strong communication skills in English Basic computer literacy Key Responsibilities Safe operation, setup, and tramming of the H80 LHR Conducting pre-use inspections and reporting safety concerns Drilling long hole patterns as per set standards and procedures Performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on equipment Recording operational data and preparing reports Providing training and guidance to team members Ensuring compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations
