Job Summary
- Assist the contract manager with the management of the operation and the investigation of
- Crime related incidents;
- Threat and Risk assessments/reporting;
- Investigation of cases and reporting of incidents to the client
- Updating the online system;
- Manage and maintain an informer network;
- Inform the client in advance about possible community action against the mine;
- Liaise with SAPS;
- Attend court cases;
- Incident and investigation management;
- Initiating and chairing disciplinary hearings;
- Ensure that company and client SOP`s are followed;
- After hour visits;
- Ensure BPC policies and procedures are adhered to;
Preferred qualifications/attributes/skills:
- PSIRA certification — Grade A;
- Grade 12 or equivalent qualification;
- 3 years Mining Security management experience;
- 3 years in mining investigation experience
- Firearm competency Handgun and Shotgun) -business standard;
- A working knowledge of MS Office;
- Report writing skills and knowledge of the Criminal Procedure Act and BCEA.
- Ability to communicate and present at all levels
- The ability to work under pressure;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Clean disciplinary, criminal and credit record;
- Own transport
