Job Description:

Our client is seeking a driven and experienced Clinical Recruiter to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, switched-on individual with a passion for healthcare recruitment. You will play a vital role in sourcing, attracting, and securing top-tier clinical talent while ensuring an outstanding recruitment experience for candidates. The role demands a proactive, results-driven recruiter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can manage multiple vacancies across NHS Trust sites.

Key

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Clinical Operations Lead to understand recruitment requirements and workforce planning needs.

• Source and attract high-caliber Clinical professionals using advanced headhunting techniques, direct sourcing, and Boolean searches.

• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from advertising vacancies and screening applications to conducting interviews and onboarding candidates.

• Build and nurture strong talent pipelines to ensure a steady flow of qualified candidates.

• Maintain and manage an internal database of Clinical staff, ensuring accurate records in the CRM system.

• Provide weekly reports on open vacancies, candidate pipelines, and interview schedules.

• Work closely with the Compliance and Onboarding team to ensure all job offers, contracts, and vetting checks are completed efficiently.

• Monitor market rates and trends to remain competitive while maintaining budget margins.

• Engage with external partners, job boards, and recruitment agencies as needed.

• Coordinate and book Clinical staff for shifts at NHS Trust sites.

• Actively participate in daily catch-ups and morning huddles, contributing to a collaborative and high-performing team culture.

Requirements

• • Minimum of 4 years experience in Healthcare Recruitment (agency or in-house).

  • Strong experience sourcing and recruiting Consultants and Nurses.

  • Exceptional headhunting skills with the ability to identify and engage passive candidates.

  • Proficiency in ATS/CRM systems for candidate management.

  • Excellent telephone manner and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities effectively, and deliver results.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

  • Solid understanding of healthcare terminology and recruitment processes.

• Desirable:

  • LinkedIn Recruiter experience (highly advantageous).

  • Degree or higher-level qualification in a relevant field.

  • Experience working with NHS Trusts or similar healthcare organisations.
