We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Cluster Financial Controller to oversee the financial operations of multiple luxury hotels in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in financial management, budgeting, cost control, and compliance within the hospitality industry. They will be responsible for optimizing financial performance, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing strategic financial insights to drive profitability across the hotel cluster.

Key

Financial Strategy & Planning

• Develop and implement financial strategies to maximize profitability and operational efficiency across multiple properties.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning to ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Provide financial insights and strategic recommendations to senior management and hotel general managers.

Financial Reporting & Compliance

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with IFRS and UAE regulations.
• Conduct financial audits and ensure compliance with local tax laws, hotel brand standards, and corporate financial policies.
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss reports.

Cost Control & Revenue Optimization

• Monitor and control operational expenses, ensuring cost efficiency across all departments.
• Implement cost-saving initiatives while maintaining service excellence and luxury standards.
• Optimize revenue management strategies in collaboration with the sales and operations teams.
• Oversee inventory control, procurement, and supply chain management to enhance profitability.

Cash Flow & Risk Management

• Manage cash flow, working capital, and financial liquidity for the hotel cluster.
• Assess financial risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Ensure proper internal controls and financial governance to prevent fraud and mismanagement.

Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management

• Lead and mentor the finance team across multiple properties, fostering a culture of financial discipline and accountability.
• Collaborate with general managers, department heads, and corporate finance teams to drive financial success.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies as required.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Masters/MBA is a plus).
• Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, CMA, or CA is highly preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in financial management, with at least 5 years in a senior finance role within a luxury hotel group.
• Strong knowledge of hospitality finance, hotel operations, and revenue management.
• Expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance.
• Proficiency in hotel financial systems such as Opera, SunSystems, SAP, or similar ERP software.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
• Strong understanding of UAE tax regulations (VAT, corporate tax, and labor laws).

Preferred Skills & Attributes:

• Experience handling financial operations for multiple properties.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Luxury hospitality experience in international hotel brands is a plus.
