Assistant Branch Manager

Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Assistant Branch Manager to support the Branch Manager in overseeing the daily operations of our KCarrim branch. The Assistant Branch Manager will help ensure smooth store operations, excellent customer service, strong staff performance, and effective stock management. This role is a stepping stone to branch leadership and requires both operational and people management skills.

Key Responsibilities:
Support the Branch Manager in managing daily store operations.
Supervise staff, allocate duties, and ensure high service standards.
Assist in driving sales and meeting branch targets.
Handle customer queries, complaints, and ensure excellent service.
Oversee stock control, replenishment, and assist with supplier coordination.
Monitor cash handling, banking, and point-of-sale operations.
Enforce compliance with company policies, procedures, and health & safety standards.
Train, mentor, and motivate team members to improve performance.
Step in to act as Branch Manager when required.
Prepare operational reports and provide feedback to management.

Requirements & Skills:
Previous experience in retail, hardware, or sales supervision.
Strong leadership and teamwork abilities.
Good knowledge of retail operations, inventory management, and customer service.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Computer literate (POS systems, MS Office, or retail software).
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Reliable, proactive, and results-driven.

Preferred Qualifications:
2–3 years’ experience in a supervisory or assistant management role (hardware/retail industry an advantage).
Diploma/Certificate in Business Management, Retail, or related field (beneficial but not essential).
