Job Summary

My client is seeking a Finance Administrator to support their financial operations and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

This role is based in Century City, Cape Town.

Key

Responsibilities:

  • Process and reconcile supplier invoices, petty cash, and payments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Prepare and manage banking transactions, including payments, transfers, and account monitoring for cash flow.
  • Perform weekly bank reconciliations and maintain organized banking records.
  • Assist with month-end processes, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and management accounts.
  • Update and manage the Fixed Assets module, running depreciation at month-end.
  • Reconcile LPM and CEMS data, investigating and escalating variances.
  • Oversee stationery procurement and stock tracking, ensuring accurate posting to the General Ledger.
  • Monitor and report on staff usage of company assets, fleet expenses, and cellphone costs.
  • Support BEE compliance reporting and audits.
  • Assist with internal and external audits, ensuring adherence to financial and regulatory policies.

Requirements:

  • Certificate/National Diploma in Bookkeeping or Finance related.
  • Experience in financial administration, accounts payable, or bookkeeping.
  • Strong reconciliation and data management skills.
  • Knowledge of financial reporting, fixed assets, and compliance regulations.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work within deadlines.
