Job Summary
This role is based in Century City, Cape Town.
Key
Responsibilities:
- Process and reconcile supplier invoices, petty cash, and payments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and manage banking transactions, including payments, transfers, and account monitoring for cash flow.
- Perform weekly bank reconciliations and maintain organized banking records.
- Assist with month-end processes, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and management accounts.
- Update and manage the Fixed Assets module, running depreciation at month-end.
- Reconcile LPM and CEMS data, investigating and escalating variances.
- Oversee stationery procurement and stock tracking, ensuring accurate posting to the General Ledger.
- Monitor and report on staff usage of company assets, fleet expenses, and cellphone costs.
- Support BEE compliance reporting and audits.
- Assist with internal and external audits, ensuring adherence to financial and regulatory policies.
Requirements:
- Certificate/National Diploma in Bookkeeping or Finance related.
- Experience in financial administration, accounts payable, or bookkeeping.
- Strong reconciliation and data management skills.
- Knowledge of financial reporting, fixed assets, and compliance regulations.
- Attention to detail and ability to work within deadlines.
