Responsibilities:

Reconcile investment transactions , including buy/sell trades, dividend payments, fund subscriptions/redemptions, and corporate actions Ensure accurate portfolio valuation by reconciling asset classes such as equities, bonds, mutual funds, derivatives, and private equity Perform general ledger reconciliations , prepare journal entries, and assist with month-end and year-end closing processes Conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve discrepancies between internal records and external data sources Collaborate with finance, operations, and compliance teams to ensure seamless reconciliation processes Support audit processes by providing reconciled accounts and explanations for variances Key Skills & Qualifications: Minimum Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Proven experience in asset management, fund accounting, and financial reporting Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and accounting software such as SAP or DARA Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and the ability to troubleshoot complex reconciliation discrepancies Ability to manage multiple reconciliations while adhering to strict reporting deadlines Knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and regulatory requirements within asset management Professional certifications such as CPA or CMA would be an advantage EE Disclaimer: All positions will be filled in accordance with the company`s Employment Equity plan.
