Job Summary
- Develop and implement quality systems, ensuring integration into daily operations and strategic goals.
- Lead and communicate quality objectives through meetings, training and reports.
- Act as a liaison between management and the team, ensuring clear directives and accountability
Quality Assurance and Control:
- Oversee the Quality Department, ensuring adherence to ISO 9001:2015 and regulatory standards.
- Establish and manage quality control procedures, audits and compliance initiatives.
- Conduct rood cause analysis, implement corrective actions, and ensure continuous quality improvement.
- Work with R&D to develop and test quality standards for components and products.
- Implement Lean methodologies to enhance product quality and efficiency.
Supplier and Customer Engagement:
- Collaborate with suppliers to monitor and maintain quality of incoming materials.
- Partner with Sales and Marketing to align products with customer expectations.
- Manage customer complaints, initiate corrective actions, and drive satisfaction.
Compliance and Documentation:
- Maintain quality documentation, ensuring alignment with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
- Drive digital transformation within the Quality Department for efficiency and accuracy.
Process Improvement & Training:
- Identify inefficiencies and spearhead Lean Manufacturing projects to enhance quality and reduce waste.
- Develop and conduct quality training programmes to ensure compliance and knowledge sharing.
- Lead quality-related meetings, ensuring alignment across teams.
General
Responsibilities:
- Communicate quality objectives weekly and monthly across the organisation.
- Oversee document control department budget, and compliance reporting.
- Implement and uphold 5S housekeeping and safety standards.
Experience and
Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in Electrical, Electronic or Mechanical Engineering, with a relevant Quality Management qualification.
- Management certification is advantageous.
- Requires 5-10 years in high-volume manufacturing, ISO 9001 certification, and expertise in quality tools (8D, FMEA, SPC, CAPA).
- Experience in project management, team leadership, and Lean/Six Sigma methodologies is preferred. Strong IT proficiency (MS Office, SAP) and SHE Management knowledge are beneficial.
- Proficiency in IT systems (Microsoft, SAP), strong numerical and analytical skills, and expertise in Electrical, Electronic, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Ability to troubleshoot, solve technical problems, and drive continuous improvement. Strong organisational, time management and information-sharing capabilities, with a results-driven and adaptable mindset.
