Job Summary
Requirements:
- Diploma/Certification in Fire Safety, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field.
- Certified Firefighter/Fire Safety Officer with HSE training (NEBOSH/IOSH is an advantage).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in firefighting, fire prevention, and HSE in industrial, offshore, or shipyard settings.
- Strong knowledge of fire suppression systems, rescue techniques, and emergency response procedures.
- Ability to conduct fire drills, training sessions, and safety awareness programs.
- Physically fit and capable of working in challenging environments.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
- Implement and promote HSE & fire safety programs across shipyard and industrial sites.
- Conduct fire risk assessments, emergency drills, and safety training for employees.
- Respond to fire incidents, emergencies, and hazardous situations efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with fire safety regulations, ISO, HSE, and company policies.
- Inspect and maintain firefighting equipment, alarms, and suppression systems.
- Support incident investigations, report hazards, and recommend corrective actions.
- Work closely with HSE teams, emergency response units, and management to enhance safety culture.
- Provide first aid and emergency response support when required.
