Job Summary
Requirements:
Matric Valid driver’s license Experience in IT, and able to carry out the below tasks Basic knowledge of computer systems, printers, and network devices Knowledge of and experience in basic general maintenance Ability to work well in a team and follow processes. Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Outlook, Excel Ability to communicate effectively with both technical teams and non-technical staff. Main responsibilities, but not limited to; Installation and maintenance of computer equipment – Computers and laptops; Printers; Tablets Maintenance of Network – Running new cables; Troubleshooting problems; Flyleads etc.; Wi-Fi setup on devices Supply of consumables for printers – Ordering cartridges and toners; Refilling ink tank printers Basic End User Support – Login Problems; Microsoft Office; Setting up printers Setup and Maintenance of Telephone System – Programming portable DECT phones; Basic troubleshooting e.g. replacing desk phones; Calling in technicians if required Maintenance of Facilities – Electrical; Lighting, including replacing of lamps; Time Clocks for lighting; Plumbing; Building issues Waste Management – Collection of Used Engine Oil and oil filters; Refuse collection; Paper and cardboard Salary – Market related based on experience, plus medical aid and provident fund Mon-Fri: 07h45 – 17h00, plus every alternate Saturday morning 08h00 – 13h00.
