Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all site activities to ensure project milestones are achieved on time and within budget.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to facilitate seamless communication and project execution.
- Monitor the installation and maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections of work performed, identifying and resolving any issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate documentation related to site activities, including progress reports and safety inspections.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and best practices to maintain a safe work environment.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to procure necessary materials and equipment for site operations.
- Assist with training and mentoring of junior staff and subcontractors in mechanical and electrical procedures.
- Liaise with clients to provide updates and address any concerns regarding project status and deliverables.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and quality assurance standards within the automotive and engineering sectors.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Site Supervisor or similar role in the automotive or engineering industry with a focus on mechanical and electrical systems.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering principles.
- Familiarity with relevant regulations, codes, and safety standards (e.g., OSHA, ISO).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Proficient in using project management software and tools.
- A degree or equivalent qualification in mechanical or electrical engineering is advantageous.
