Job Summary

Furipoint is excited to announce that we are currently expanding our team and are looking for highly motivated and skilled professionals to fill the following positions:1x Senior Quantity Surveyor (QS)1x Quantity Surveyor (QS)2x Junior Quantity Surveyor (QS)We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our dynamic team and contribute to the success of our projects. Below are the detailed requirements for each position:1. Senior Quantity Surveyor (1 Position)Responsibilities:Lead and manage all aspects of cost control for projects.Provide strategic advice and value engineering solutions to clients and project teams.Prepare and manage tender documents and contracts.Lead negotiations and manage procurement processes.Monitor and report on project financials, including cost forecasts and cash flow.Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.Supervise and mentor junior staff, ensuring continuous professional development.Requirements:Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field (MRICS or equivalent preferred).Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in Quantity Surveying, with significant experience in project management.Proven track record in managing large-scale construction projects.Strong commercial acumen and financial management skills.Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.In-depth knowledge of contract law and procurement procedures.Ability to lead and mentor a team of junior surveyors.2. Quantity Surveyor (1 Position)Responsibilities:Assist in managing costs and budgets for construction projects.Prepare and evaluate tender documents and contracts.Prepare detailed cost estimates and cost plans.Monitor project progress and track costs, ensuring that they stay within budget.Assist in the preparation of progress claims and variations.Liaise with clients, contractors, and consultants to ensure project delivery on time and within budget.Requirements:Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.2-4 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.Solid understanding of cost control, contracts, and procurement.Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.Proficiency in industry-standard software and cost estimation tools.3. Junior Quantity Surveyor (2 Positions)Responsibilities:Support senior surveyors in managing costs and budgeting on construction projects.Assist in preparing cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documents.Track project costs and assist in producing financial reports.Assist in the preparation of progress claims and variations.Coordinate with project teams to ensure smooth project execution.Learn and develop skills in project management and cost control.Requirements:Degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying or related field (or equivalent).0-2 years of experience in a Quantity Surveying role, fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.Willingness to learn and develop professionally.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic cost estimation software is a plus.If you meet the requirements for any of the positions listed above and are passionate about building your career in Quantity Surveying, we would love to hear from you!
