Job Summary
Our client is seeking a highly capable Software Sales Manager to lead and manage their sales team, with a core focus on selling complex technical products and services. This role acts as a critical link between technical expertise and customer needs, driving revenue growth through solution-based sales, client engagement, and close collaboration with engineering and product development teams.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead, motivate, and mentor a high-performing sales team to achieve and exceed targets.

Develop and implement effective sales strategies to identify new opportunities and drive revenue.

Engage with customers to understand their technical requirements and tailor appropriate solutions.

Present complex technical concepts in a clear and compelling manner to various audiences.

Collaborate closely with engineering and product development teams to relay customer feedback and contribute to product improvement.
-
Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting through to closing.

Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders and clients.

Stay informed about industry developments, emerging technologies, and competitor activity.

Analyze market trends to identify new business opportunities and potential revenue streams.
-
Maintain accurate sales pipelines and forecasts to support business planning.
REQUIRED SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
Qualifications
-
Matric (Senior Certificate)
-
A tertiary qualification in Business Management will be advantageous
Experience
-
57 years in a senior sales leadership role, ideally within a technology-driven or product-oriented environment
-
Proven success in managing and scaling a high-performing sales team
-
Track record in technical sales or product-based solution selling
-
Exposure to home loan processes will be advantageous
-
Demonstrated ability to build strong networks and customer relationships
