Job Summary
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement strategies to recover and rehabilitate distressed secured assets (immovable, tangible, intangible) linked to doubtful debts
- Lead and guide the Home Loans Collections team, ensuring alignment with best practice, governance, and risk frameworks
- Oversee the full collections lifecycle, including foreclosure management, litigation strategies, and rehabilitation
- Drive collections target achievement while managing risk exposure and client outcomes
- Ensure robust compliance with legal and regulatory standards across all collection processes
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across Credit, Legal, Risk, and Client Experience teams
- Continuously evaluate and improve operational processes to optimize recovery efforts
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- A seasoned leader with a strong background in collections, credit risk, and recovery
- Proven experience in leading teams and designing credit collections strategies
- Deep understanding of secured lending, portfolio analysis, and foreclosure processes
- Solid grasp of relevant legal, compliance, and governance frameworks
- Strong decision-making, leadership, and stakeholder management capabilities
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Risk Management, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in Credit Risk, Collections, or Recovery, including functional leadership
- Certification in Risk Management (CRM) or equivalent is advantageous
- Experience in banking, home loans collections, and distressed asset recovery
- Familiarity with quantitative analysis, risk reporting, and workflow management
