Job Summary
- A diploma or degree in Accounting or Finance
- Valid driver’s license and own transport preferred
Skills and Experience Required:
- Proven experience processing high volumes of transactions in a fast-paced environment
- Strong bookkeeping skills up to trial balance
- Excellent reconciliation and financial management abilities
- Proficient in Sage, Pastel or SAP (advantageous) and confident in MS Excel
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail and strong organisational skills
Job Description:
- Debtors & Creditors: Manage and reconcile all supplier and customer accounts
- Bookkeeping to Trial Balance: Maintain accurate financial records and ensure completeness of ledgers
- Financial Reporting: Assist in compiling monthly management accounts
- Reconciliations: Complete bank, debtor, creditor and balance sheet reconciliations
- General Ledger: Maintain and post to the GL accurately
- Journals: Prepare and process journal entries to uphold financial accuracy
- Cashbook Management: Track daily cash flow through comprehensive cashbook records
- Audit Preparation: Support the year-end audit process and prepare required documentation
