Job Summary
An established concern within the mining space based in the Northern Cape, is now on the lookout for an astute Executive PA to take the reigns in the CEO’s office for a 3 months period. The ideal individual for this role will provide professional, efficient, and confidential executive support to the CEO, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of the CEO’s office.
The role involves diary and office management, stakeholder liaison, preparation of reports and briefing documents, and coordination of logistics for meetings, Board activities, and community engagements.
The key responsibilities for this role will include:
- Manage the CEO’s diary, meetings, travel, and office operations.
- Draft, review, and prepare correspondence, reports, and presentations.
- Coordinate logistics for Board meetings, travel arrangements, and official events.
- Liaise with stakeholders, community representatives, and donors on behalf of the CEO.
- Track and follow up on action items, projects, and reports.
- Support governance, community outreach, and strategic projects.
As you will be responsible for hitting the ground running extensive experience is essential. You will also be hands-on involved with the department.
The requirements:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Development Studies, Public Administration, or related field
Experience:
- 10+ years in an administrative role with 5 years of those in executive support
- Solid experience working on Microsoft Office including Microsoft Project
- High levels of discretion, integrity and emotional intelligence
Skills Required:
- Excellent communication, organisational, problem-solving and interpersonal skills
- Strong literacy in Ms Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong presentation skills
- Valid Code B driver’s license
