About the Role
Our client is a leading force in the renewable energy sector, forming part of a JSE-listed conglomerate driving innovation, sustainability and large-scale infrastructure projects. As Financial Manager, you’ll oversee reporting, compliance, audits and project accounting, while partnering with senior leadership to ensure financial performance stays as strong as the power output.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Drive budgets, forecasts and financial planning processes
- Oversee tax, IFRS compliance and statutory requirements
- Manage internal and external audits and governance processes
- Oversee IFRIC 12 models and project accounting structures
- Lead and develop the finance team
- Partner with senior leadership and C-suite on financial strategy and performance
- Ensure strong financial controls and continuous process improvements
Requirements
- CA(SA) qualified
- 8+ years’ post-articles experience in a Financial Management role
- Experience in a multinational environment
- Strong project accounting experience essential
- Renewable energy industry exposure highly beneficial
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- SAP knowledge and implementation experience
- Strong leadership, stakeholder engagement and strategic thinking ability
