Job Summary

Position OverviewWe are seeking a qualified and experienced Financial Accountant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining financial records, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting executive decision-making through timely financial analysis and reporting.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare monthly reporting packs and assist with Exco reporting.Support forecasting and budgeting processes.Maintain fixed asset register and ensure compliance with Capex procedures.Assist in audit preparation and manage audit schedules.Process monthly journals (depreciation, payroll, lease liabilities, accruals, etc.).Capture and reconcile head office invoices monthly.Maintain and analyse monthly expense schedules across multiple categories.Review and ensure completeness of monthly accruals and supplier reconciliations.Calculate, submit, and manage monthly VAT returns.Provide cost analysis by customer for executive reports.Compile daily customer revenue reports as required.Review weekly wages, petty cash, salary accounts, and credit card transactions.Approve cashbook allocations and customer billings.Track installment sales and liaise with financial institutions where necessary.Minimum RequirementsBachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent.35 years experience
