Employer Description A well-established law firm located in Pretoria. Job Description Our client is looking for a Senior Bonds Secretary to join their Pretoria office. This is an urgent vacancy with an ideal start date as soon as possible to allow for a handover period. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing FNB Commercial Property Finance bonds and cancellations, ensuring seamless processing and client service. You will be responsible for: Attending to FNB Commercial Property Finance bond registrations and cancellations Ensuring compliance with FNBs processing guidelines and internal procedures Liaising professionally with banks, clients, and attorneys to facilitate transactions Preparing and managing bond documents and securities accurately and efficiently Handling administrative tasks related to bond matters with precision Prioritising files effectively and managing workload under pressure Maintaining high standards of client service and communication Qualifications Relevant legal or conveyancing qualification (Paralegal certificate/Diploma preferred) Matric essential Additional training in conveyancing systems or commercial property finance is advantageous Skills The successful candidate will have: Minimum 5 years experience in bond registrations, specifically FNB bonds (non-negotiable) Experience with Lexis Sign (non-negotiable) Exposure to Commercial Property Finance bonds (advantageous) Strong administrative skills and meticulous attention to detail Excellent interpersonal skills and client-facing professionalism Ability to work independently and under pressure Strong file management and prioritisation abilities
