We are a growing, profitable company that has been in operation for over 18 years.We are looking for an experienced salesperson to sell Tyres and Vehicle Repairs. If you have solid tyre sales experience and a track record of success, we can teach you how to sell the vehicle repairs. It is fun, ever changing and you will learn new things every day.The person must a minimum of 2 years retail tyre sales experience. We sell all premium brand tyres as well as cheaper budget and value tyres. We work with passenger cars, 4×4’s and SUV’s.Vehicle repairs (over most vehicle brands) we provide are: Brake Pads, Discs, Drums and Shoes Shock Absorbers Suspension repairs Batteries Minor vehicle services.A person with a good knowledge of performing vehicle safety inspections on vehicles and identifying worn or damaged components will have an advantage.We need a person with that meet the below conditions: Minimum 2 years retail tyre sales experience Excellent sales and persuasion skills Grade 12 Minimum A Valid Driver’s License Own Transport Be presentable and well spoken Like working with people and persuading people Very computer literate In good health and no criminal recordThere is some administrative work involved as well such as invoicing, receiving stock into the system, filing, returning incorrect parts, processing credit notes. We also deal with fleet companies and so the person will get authorisations for repairs, submit invoices for payments and handle queries from fleet companies as well.We use a variety of web portals to check stock and pricing, register warranties and claims and ordering stock.The person will source parts/tyres as needed, work with the technicians to identify worn/damaged components and manager the vehicle through the repair process. Communicating with the customer throughout is important, until the vehicle is ready. Performing a test drive after repairs is essential so that problem areas can be identified and corrected before handing over the vehicle to the customer. In some cases, additional repairs are necessary, and that creates additional sales opportunities.We provide training on selling vehicles repairs for candidates that have retail tyre sales experience, but not vehicle repair sales experience. We also provide sales training to assist in sharpening up selling skills.We offer a base salary and sales target related incentive (monthly). Salary and commission structure depends on experience and a proven track record of success.
