Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Pastry Chef de Partie to join a renowned luxury restaurant group in Franschhoek. This position is ideal for a passionate individual eager to refine their pastry skills in a world-class culinary environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and production of high-quality pastries, desserts, and baked goods

• Ensure consistency and excellence in presentation and flavour across all pastry items

• Support the Head Pastry Chef and senior pastry team with daily operations

• Maintain strict standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety within the pastry section

• Assist with stock control, ordering, and proper storage of ingredients

• Contribute ideas and creativity to menu development and seasonal offerings

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Pastry Chef de Partie or Commis Pastry Chef in a fine dining or luxury hospitality environment

• Strong technical pastry skills with attention to detail and creativity

• Ability to work effectively within a team and under pressure

• Knowledge of kitchen operations, stock control, and food safety regulations

• A genuine passion for pastry and a drive to deliver excellence
