Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and job specifications.
• Fabricate and assemble structural steel components, tanks, chutes, frames, and mechanical parts.
• Perform cutting, bending, rolling, and welding of steel using appropriate tools and machinery.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure components meet design and dimensional accuracy standards.
• Repair, maintain, and modify existing steel structures and plant equipment when required.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations within the workshop.
• Collaborate with engineers, welders, and fitters to ensure efficient workflow and project completion.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent.
• Recognized Trade Test Certificate as a Boilermaker (Red Seal).
• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience as a Boilermaker in a manufacturing, mining, or heavy engineering environment.
• Ability to read and interpret fabrication and mechanical drawings accurately.
• Proficiency in various welding techniques (GMAW, SMAW, FCAW).
• Strong understanding of steel grades, tolerances, and fabrication standards.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and quality control systems.
