✨ Chief Operating Officer – Luxury Wine Estate ✨ Franschhoek | Salary: Negotiable, DOE Kendrick Recruitment is searching for a visionary Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join a world-class luxury wine estate in the heart of Franschhoek. This senior leadership role is ideal for a dynamic professional with a passion for data, analytics, AI, and technology – someone ready to drive group-wide strategy and lead a high-performing global team. What you’ll be doing: Head up the data & technology division, leading talented teams across multiple countries Oversee software systems, e-commerce platforms, apps, websites & hospitality tech Develop and implement a global data & AI strategy Build & optimise data pipelines, integrations, and reporting systems Deliver tech projects on time & within budget Provide data-driven insights to shape marketing, e-commerce & wider business strategies Ensure compliance with GDPR, POPIA & other regulations What you’ll need: Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field 10 years’ experience in data, analytics, software development and/or engineering Proven leadership & people management skills Advanced knowledge of BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Google Analytics) Strong programming/data science experience (Python, R, MATLAB, pandas) CRM knowledge (HubSpot, Salesforce) Experience in e-commerce & hospitality tech (advantageous) Willingness to travel internationally & work on-site in Franschhoek, 5 days a week Who you are: An innovative, proactive leader who thrives at the crossroads of technology and strategy.
