Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and professional Executive Assistant to join our dynamic team at a leading Public Property Development Company in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the rules and regulations governing public companies and will be adept at providing exceptional administrative and executive support to the Directors. Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Directors, including calendar management, travel coordination, and correspondence handling. Ensure the Directors’ time is managed effectively by prioritizing tasks and scheduling appointments. Prepare and coordinate meetings, ensuring that agendas, reports, and materials are prepared in advance. Assist with the preparation of presentations and documents for internal and external meetings. Maintain a high level of confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information. Coordinate compliance-related activities and ensure Directors are informed of regulatory requirements within the public company space. Liaise with key stakeholders, both internally and externally, to ensure smooth communication and operations. Handle filing and record-keeping of important documents, including corporate governance materials. Assist with ad-hoc tasks and projects as requested by the Directors. What We’re Looking For: Proven experience as a Personal Assistant or Executive Assistant, preferably within a public company environment. A strong understanding of the corporate governance and regulatory framework governing public companies. Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. High degree of discretion and confidentiality. Proficiency in office software and systems (Microsoft Office Suite, project management tools, etc.). A proactive, self-motivated, and adaptable approach to work. A diploma or relevant qualification in Business Administration or a related field (advantageous). Why Join Us?
