Eastern Cape: Maintenance Fitter (December/January Shut Down) posted by Staff Solutions

• Disassemble and reassemble machinery and equipment for repair.
• Review and interpret engineering specifications, schematics, and blueprints to determine work procedures.
• Installing equipment.
• Perform machine maintenance as per provided schedules. (Performs PM’s, cleans and lubricates  machines and equipment)
• Servicing, repairing, adjusting, and testing machines

Job Requirements: 

• Trade test certificate
• Minimum of 5 – 10 years of experience in performing maintenance on mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic.
• Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
• Compliance with safety regulations and maintenance of clean and orderly work areas
• Ability to work weekends and overtime as required.
