Cape Town City Centre: Internal Technical Sales

An established engineering solutions provider in the industrial automation and instrumentation sector is looking for an Internal Sales Representative to join their team in Cape Town. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically minded individual whos passionate about client service and eager to develop into an external sales career over time. Non-Negotiable Requirements: Minimum 3 years internal sales experience within industrial automation, instrumentation, or a related technical environment Relevant technical qualification (Diploma or N in Electrical, Computer, or Industrial Engineering / IT / Networking) Strong technical understanding of industrial computing, serial connectivity, IP surveillance, or PoE-based solutions Excellent communication and organisational skills Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook) Valid drivers licence and South African ID Job Experience & Skills Required: Handle technical product and sales enquiries, preparing accurate quotations and processing orders Support External Sales Engineers with customer information, pricing, and documentation Research and identify new customers and opportunities in the automation and instrumentation space Build long-term relationships with clients through professional, reliable service Maintain accurate sales administration and CRM records Participate in ongoing technical and product training to prepare for future field sales growth For more engineering jobs, please visit:
